EAST BAY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT – Lawn conversion rebate
EBMUD has indicated that they will continue their program in 2023. If you’d like to reach them directly, 1-866-403-2683.
CONTRA COSTA WATER DISTRICT – Lawn to garden rebate
Contra Costa Water district has an online form for you to upload photos demonstrating current care/maintenance, including photos showing active irrigation and full square footage of lawn footprint. Photos must show landmarks unique to your property (mailbox, tree, house front, etc). Note that, in order to receive the rebate, your application must be approved before landscaping is commenced.
